This demonstration is an exercise in painting quickly with a purpose and not taking yourself to seriously. Sometimes it is best to just paint something and practice, as in this one a cool sky and then hope the rest of the painting doesn’t waste the effort. In this case I can tell you the bottom is pretty stiff and wow could I have varied the green just a little bit. I mean if you did it in my class I would say really a little variety would be nice. Oh well, I am the teacher and I will say about myself. I finished this little piece in about 15 minutes and so it was a nice little warm up.
