I am sitting around the studio trying to get going and it isn’t working so I just decided to dream a little about being somewhere else. These three paintings were demonstrations from last years workshop in Maine and they make me think of a happier time. Well enough of that all three are 18 x 24 watercolors painted on location. I hope you like them.

Come “View from Pemaquid, late in the afternoon.
“Birch State Park” pretty lovely little cove. You should come and paint with me this September. This painting was painted with the side of a No. 16 round to get a very textural wash effect.
“On the Rocks, Pemaquid” Rough water, lots of light, what could be better.
The painting sites were just wonderful last fall and your paintings really capture those days!
