Color Landscape

I have been painting some very colorful paintings in the last few days which went from terrific with just the need for a few adjustments that then moved the painting to absolute train wrecks. With enough color and a strong constitution I got back to what I wanted which was a feeling of a shape driven abstract landscape. What I came away with was two fold the first being that you learn color by using it and that you don’t get anywhere in art by accepting the unresolved statement less than intended piece. We must push on to make the art and then it is done.

This reminds me so much of the Southwest! Love the strong colors. PatReplyCancel
