Still trying to find the black and white language that works for me. I have reversed the concept with a large black piece balanced against a very small series of white shapes and I think it works pretty well. I find it pretty mysterious and dramatic. It bothers me though that I am reading peoples minds who are saying that is too easy and just black paint but again I think I am not looking for the subject to be external of the canvas but rather the canvas to be the subject.
