I am working on this opaque watercolor of a figure that is driving me crazy. I am using an image that I have from years ago and am not just getting the feel for the figure. I am trying to use some very harsh color contrasts of orange and leaf green with some accents of purple. I think it is getting there but it will take some more time.

  1. Speaking strictly as a short female with legs like a Hobbit's, I still can't help wondering about the figure's pose-how natural is it even for a tall woman? Ask yourself the same questions you would ask us–what's the story? Where is she and why? What's her mood/attitude and does it contrast with her surroundings? Just a thought from someone who needs more coffee.
